Welcome Tips Fans! I’m so excited for the first puck drop of the season - now only a week away!

One of the things I noticed both during the summer and during the season is that while Everett constantly sells out the beautiful Angel of the Winds Arena and has amazing community support - there’s almost nowhere to TALK Silvertips hockey online. Sure - you have your Facebook Groups (which I’m in) - but those can be daunting to post in and can turn negative quickly.

So I’m excited to announce THIS - The Tips Jar. If you are someone who craves a bit more Silvertips content - from game recaps to roster breakdowns or Jersey Rankings - add this to your daily reading! I’m really excited about this y’all. I went to many Tips games as a kid, but had withdrawals during my time at WSU (although I still made the trek up to Spokane at least twice a year to catch the boys in green!) last year was my first year back on the west side, and what a year to follow the boys. Scotty Munro Trophy, two Divisional playoff series, and a summer that was too long to dream about this coming season!

I’ve always loved the Silvertips, and have always written up recaps and newsletters for my friends and family. There will be two tiers of content on this substack. The first will be midweek articles, analysis/opinions, and more! Those will always be free for everyone. The second will be more in depth research articles, post-game recaps/write ups, and some interviews as well - these will be in a paid tier. This is because these articles take much more time and effort for me to write.
